Mike arrived right on time. Took off his shoes without any prompting (impressive to me) and got to work on the patient who hasn't seen a piano tech in close to 20 years. BTW, it's a Kawai baby grand. He then spent almost 2 and half hours working on it and got it sounding fabulous. He indicated that a number of pins need to be replaced and suggested that I get another tuning in about 6 months and he would replace the pins at that time. Mike is a pro at what he does and is very engaging. I will certainly have Mike back to keep my piano in good shape and would encourage anyone who isn't sure to ask for Mike. - Steve F.

Booked Mike for the next day (a Sunday afternoon), he was prompt, so professional and friendly, and tuned my piano that had been sitting there unplayable for six months!!! It ended up needing a pitch raise, a few repairs, in addition to tuning, but Mike was really forthright about what I needed to get it in basic condition, and honest that it would probably need a few more tunings this year to "nurse it back to health." But the price for that original session was reasonable and I will definitely call him again in a few months when it needs another look. Thanks Mike!! -  Liz M.

Mike did a fantastic job of taking care of my old (very old, hard-worn) piano. I had a snapped string and my soundboard is cracked, so it's not an easy job, but Mike was very clear about explaining everything and tuning it up as good as it can be. He was even able to splice the string, which saved me money and from having to wait for a replacement delivery. His work is a great value for a really great price. -Kate P.

My experience with Mike was great -- he did a good job and was very thorough.  He was also super friendly. I appreciated that he clearly understood music and was not just tuning to a machine.  He took the time to make sure the piano sounded good in all registers through a variety of chords.  I have had bad tunings before and know the difference. -Dan K.

I had just about given up on my very old but lovely baby grand piano.  It had not held its tuning for a very long time due to a cracked pin board and I felt its days were over. Mike was the technician that came to the rescue and I can't offer high enough praise for the quality of his work.  He suggested and I agreed that the solution would be to replace some of the tuning pins with larger ones that would then be tighter and hold the tuning.
